CrossRoads Introduces Sunset Trail Ultra Lite Series
TOPEKA, IN---CrossRoads RV recently introduced its new Sunset Trail Ultra Lite Series at the National RV Dealers Association (RVDA) Show in Las Vegas at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino.
The next generation of Sunset Trail comes in ten ultra lite travel trailer models designed for easy towing by today’s family vehicles. These all aluminum-framed units are equipped with many standard features that other RV manufacturers offer only as options.
In addition, CrossRoads RV will be offering four expandable models. These expandable units offer folding tent ends, adding two 60” x 80” queen beds. This provides sleeping capacity for up to 8 adults in a 19’ floor plan, roughly the same room and sleeping capacity of a traditional 32’ quad bunk trailer. Sunset Trails range from 17' – 31’ including eight models with slide outs.
“We’ve taken weight out of the Sunset Trail travel trailers and added the expandable line to strengthen our product offering. The previous top two manufacturers of this style trailer are either out of business or on life-support, so our dealers asked us to help fill the void,” says Crossroads Sales Manager Larry Weaver. “Additionally, our lightweight units are 8’ wide when most of our competitors are offering only 7-1/2 ' wide units.”
Headquartered in Topeka, Indiana, CrossRoads RV manufactures a wide variety of travel trailers, fifth wheels, and park models at five plant locations. Its products are distributed through dealers throughout the United States, Canada, France, Japan, and Australia. CrossRoads is a division of Thor Industries.
