Dutchmen Presents the EcoLogic Travel Trailer

Dutchmen Manufacturing Inc., a division of Thor, Goshen Ind., presents its EcoLogic Travel Trailer. The EcoLogic is the industry’s first 100 percent composite superstructure, ultra-lite product line. It is built by Dutchmen’s’ Aerolite division. The EcoLogic replaces the rubber roof and wood substrates in the roof as well as the wood decking and polyethylene underbelly in the floor with Cosmolite from Tekmodo.

The lauan wood substrates in the walls have been replaced with Superlite from Azdell. Both composite materials are formaldehyde free, contain no harmful VOC’s, are water and mildew resistant and are significantly lighter and stronger than wood substrates. In addition to the lightweight superstructure, EcoLogic incorporates Aerolites ultra-lite interior and chassis construction to further reduce weight. Plus, EcoLogic includes lightweight European SMEV appliances, Poly-Plastic windows and a front “bullet” profile design for added aerodynamics.

The EcoLogic is available in an 18’ floorplan that includes sleeping space for four with a queen bed and dinette. The floorplan includes a full bath with shower as well as a full kitchen with stovetop, refrigerator, microwave and generous storage.
